Are your children safe when they are online? Are your children prepared to make appropriate choices when using social media, texting, and the Internet? With the ever-changing landscape of technology, it’s hard for parents to keep track of the latest trends – much less how their child is making use of these various forms.
That’s why PSBC has designed a class for parents and grandparents in mind. It is called TechSafe. Over a 4-week period, we will host sessions that cover a range of topics that will guide you through what you need to know about today’s technology and how that relates to your child or teenager. Online registration for the class is available.
Some of the topics will include:
- Social Media
- Internet Safety & Privacy
- Cyberbullying
- Adult Content
- Safeguarding Your Computers and Devices
During these sessions, you’ll learn some practical ideas on how to both prepare and protect your child through these “tech” waters. Our session times match up with our regular Wednesday night activities so we have a place for your child or student, too.
